There are so many tablets which are available in the markets. Tablets are bigger in size, fast in processing, have high storage space (internal/external), compatible according to user’s choice as compared to normal cell phones. Tablets nowadays are becoming an important part of luxury life. There is another type of tablet which is built for the special purpose that is Rugged tablet. A rugged tablet is a tablet which is designed to use in tough and harsh conditions such as in high temperature, strong vibrations, dusty, rough and dry locations. They are made especially for professional use like for soldiers, scientists, construction workers etc. They are similar to the other normal tablets which are available in the markets, but the difference is that they are specifically made to survive in the unusual conditions. Like a normal tablet, a rugged tablet can have many features like wireless connectivity, Bluetooth, camera etc. A rugged tablet can be more expensive than a normal tablet because of following reasons as extra features.
Features:-
• Strong Communication Link - Designers have been focusing to make a tablet which is strong in communicating, although normal tablets have a communication link, but they are not successful when we talk about tough conditions. Example: less range of signals, high and low temperature etc.
• Hard Body Parts - Other important thing to survive in tough area is hard body. These tablets have strong body which cannot be broken even if we throw it from 1st or 2nd floor of a building. They can be used in rocky areas.
• Water Proof - These tablets are built in such a way that they will not get damaged if they fall into water.
• Heat Resistance- These tablets can bear high temperature. They are built to work in high temperature, as well.
• Chemical Resistance - These tablets cannot be damaged under chemical reactions.
